Rumor: Belgian coach Wouter Franken close to becoming Hearts' new manager.

Wouter Franken, who announced his departure from St Truiden this summer after leading the team to a third-place finish in Belgium's Pro League, is close to becoming the new manager of Scottish side Hearts. The report states that Franken, 47, has attended an interview with the club. Former AZ Alkmaar head coach Marten Martens and Rene Haage, who previously worked on the staff at Feyenoord and Manchester United, are also among the options being considered. Besides the matter of the coach Hearts' transfer market is also active. The club are rumored to be in talks with Lyon over 26-year-old Portuguese striker Claudio Braga, with reports reporting the team asking for around £8.6m, while Hearts are valuing him at around £8m-10m. Hearts are also interested in 26-year-old Zwolle striker Koen Kostons and are prepared to pay around £1.3m for the player signed from Paderborn last season. Defender Michael Steinwender is holding talks over a move to German side Bochum, with Hearts expected to make a profit on the transfer fee paid for Varnamo 18 months ago. Tottenham Hotspur loan news says Mikey Moore has been loaned out again by his parent club. And Rangers are reportedly hoping to get him back amid interest from Championship and European clubs for the 18-year-old winger. Rangers are likely to value 25-year-old Belgian midfielder Nicolas Raskin at around £20 million in this transfer window.
