«Watching is offensive» Commentator Elaquin comments on the Paraguay-France game.

Russian commentator Alexander Elagin has commented on the match 1/8 of the 2026 World Cup between the national teams of France and Paraguay. which ended in a 1-0 victory for France, he said: “Jealousy is in the blood of Paraguayans. Football players are no exception. Their tenacity, their refusal to give up, Courage and fearlessness are the hallmarks of Paraguayan men. But sometimes these qualities turn into uncontrollable brutality. which can often be seen on the football field Not only in Paraguay's football stadiums. but also the fields of other countries in South America as well What made me think this way was the behavior of Paraguayan football players in the 1/8 match of the 2026 World Cup in Philadelphia. which is the only French team that actually plays football. Meanwhile, Paraguay fought against their opponents instead of playing football. Watching this is upsetting. The referee's final whistle was clearly a relief... What else is there to say about this form of football from Paraguay? Unfortunately, many people still cheered for them in the game against Germany. But what happened is different,” Elakin wrote on his Telegram channel. --- ## Related Articles 1. [Mundial 2026](https://verrikalam.com/ta/news/8) 2.
